Every person has the right to grow, to work, and to build a future worthy of their potential. The Right to Develop is a collaborative programme that closes job skill gaps, upskills the workforce, and expands career pathways — through partnerships that span South African and global organizations, corporate social investment (CSI), corporate social responsibility (CSR), and development funding.

Every person has the right to grow, to work, and to build a future worthy of their potential.
The Right to Develop is an initiative platform created to tackle youth unemployment in South Africa. Through a dedicated career and job placement programme paired with skills development training, we help unemployed youth across the country access real opportunities to build sustainable careers.
As a collaborative programme, we close job skill gaps, upskill the workforce, and expand career pathways by partnering with South African and global organizations, corporate social investment (CSI) initiatives, corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes, and development funders.

The Right to Develop 2024
On 30 November 2024, we proudly hosted our inaugural The Right to Develop Exhibition in Kloof. The event was a remarkable success, attracting strong participation from officials representing eThekwini Municipality, private investment delegates, and students from across South Africa. The exhibition created a dynamic platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and meaningful engagement between the public sector, private sector, and emerging built-environment professionals.
Through initiatives such as our exhibitions, training programmes, and professional development platforms, The Right to Develop continues to strengthen South Africa’s built-environment capacity and contribute toward sustainable infrastructure and property development growth.
